President Adama Barrow left Banjul this afternoon to attend the 57th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government summit in Niamey, Niger.
The Summit which kicks off on Monday September 7 will review amongst other issues security, economics and the impact of COVID-19 on the West African sub-region.
The 57th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority will be chaired by the President of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou and Special guests include the President of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki Mahamat and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for West and Sahel Region Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas.
