President Adama Barrow will on December 7 embark on a month-long nationwide tour, State House has announced.

“The tour is a constitutional requirement for the head of state to meet and dialogue with the people on the impact of the Government’s policies on their lives and livelihoods,” State House said in a statement.

The tour will end on January 7, 2021 with intervals of rest days including the public holidays for Christmas and the New Year, State House added.

Under the country’s political tradition, the president travels the length and breadth of the country to hear from the people about their plights and needs and offers his government approach to addressing those concerns.
