Correction and clarification

An article dated August 7, 2020 stated that a Gambian diplomat Sambou Gassama died of suspected coronavirus. 

The family of the late Sambou Gassama has denied that he died of coronavirus. 

According to the family the health authorities confirmed to them that he did not test positive for coronavirus. 

We apologise to the Sambou Family for any distress caused.
