The defending champions Real De Banjul Football Club have brushed aside Banjul United in an emphatic 2-0 victory away from home. 

The win against city rivals at the Bakau Field gave Real De Banjul a four-point lead at the top of the league’s table standings.  

Suwaibou Kebbeh gave the champions the lead with his first start of the season when he arrived in the box to connect with Baboucarr Touray’s passed in the 35th minute.  

Baboucarr Touray turned provided again with a clever through pass assist for Modou Lamin Jobarteh to score a sumptuous goal. Real De Banjul move four points ahead of Brikama United on top of the table with 33 points. 

Elsewhere, Falcons FC return to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Gambian Dutch Lions.
