Lamin Jammeh’s outstanding performance inspired Red Star FC to come from behind and defeat Mighty Ajax FC 2-1 in a thrilling finale of the Gunjur Sports Committee Kombo Real Estate Sponsored Knockout Tournament, held at the Nyamina Field.

Bubacarr Jassey had given Mighty Ajax FC a 1-0 lead in the first half. However, Lamin Jammeh scored two goals to turn the match in favour of Red Star FC, securing the trophy for his team.

As winners, Red Star FC took home a large trophy, medals, and a cash prize of D40,000, while Mighty Ajax FC received medals and a consolation prize of D30,000 for finishing as runners-up.
