Momodou Sabally, a special presidential adviser, has said that he believes President Adama Barrow is up to the job of transforming the Gambia with his development agenda.

“I believe in President Adama Barrow and NPP and I believe he is here to stay. And I believe he’ll transform the country with developments no other president will ever do,” Sabally told the Fatunetwork.

Sabally recently joined the Barrow government as a special adviser. He defected from the opposition United Democratic Party last December.

The former fierce critic of President Barrow and his government is now its staunchest ally. 

However, he has been called a hypocrite for defending a government he once criticised.
