
Senegalese football star, Sadio Mané has arrived in Banjul as part of a visit linked to a potential investment partnership.
Speaking to state broadcaster GRTS, Mané, who currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, did not disclose details about the nature of the investment but daid the country holds a special place in his heart.
“This is one of the countries I love most, and I am really happy to be here,” Mané told GRTS with a smile.

Commenting further on his visit, he added: “Of course, my visit is also to come and meet people because I am here for a partnership. At the same time, it is a pleasure for me to be in The Gambia.”
He was earlier welcomed at the airport by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Seedy Njie.
