Samger FC has officially confirmed the departure of head coach Alhaji Amat Cham, following a mutual agreement to end their relationship.

The decision comes after the club was relegated from the GFF First Division at the end of the 2025/26 season, despite having secured promotion to the top flight under Amat Cham the previous campaign.

In an official statement, the club acknowledged the coach’s contribution and thanked him for his service.

“Coach Amat Cham successfully guided the club to promotion from the GFF Second Division to the GFF First Division during the 2024/25 season,” the club stated.

Samger further praised the coach’s dedication during his spell at the club, adding: “His commitment, professionalism, and leadership played a significant role in one of the club’s memorable achievements, and his efforts will always be appreciated.”

The club also wished Amat Cham success in his future endeavours as both sides now begin a new chapter.
