The Gambia defeated Equatorial Guinea 2-1 in an international friendly on Friday evening, with forward Adama Sidibeh scoring both goals to secure the victory at the Stade de Marrakech.
Sidibeh gave the Scorpions an early lead in the 13th minute with a well-taken strike.

Adama then doubled the advantage just before half-time, calmly converting from the penalty spot.

Equatorial Guinea responded swiftly, pulling one back moments before the break to make it 2-1.

Despite second-half pressure from the Nzalang Nacional, The Gambia maintained their composure and saw out the match to claim a morale-boosting win.
