The Ministry of Health has said six among the 128 people who tested positive for coronavirus are on the run after escaping from their treatment centres.

“Six of the confirmed cases are at large – one was deported, three left the country surreptitiously prior to the release of their results and two absconded from the treatment centres,” the Ministry of Health said.

The announcement comes amid high rise in coronavirus cases that has caused fear and panic in the country. 

The total coronavirus cases in the country is now 799 with 16 deaths.
