Six people are feared to have died in a fatal car accident along Palma Rima highway as a taxi car and a four wheeler collided at the junction.

According to eyewitnesses, six people on board the two cars died on the spot as debris of the destroyed cars were scattered on the side of the road.

Police couldn’t be reached to verify the number of deaths when Gambiana contacted the police PRO for verification.

“This is a problem and very sad, I always said this to people to be careful of how they drive along this road. I think this road has devils. My brothers and sister please let us be careful of how we drive,” an eye witness who preferred anonymity told Gambiana.

“We are calling on the authorities to help manned a checkpoint here. If not this junction is a very dangerous junction which causes most of the accidents,” he said, adding “May God protect us from a deadly accident, and may their souls rest in peace.”
