SN Brussels Airlines flight 1203 was forced to divert and land in Dakar after a power outage struck Banjul International Airport.
A passenger on the flight, Momodou Krubally, described the situation: “Brussels Airlines flight #1203 is currently stranded in Dakar after three attempts to land in Banjul. The reason is that there is no electricity at the airport.”
Brussels Airlines has confirmed that the flight will remain in Dakar overnight and is expected to resume its journey to Banjul the following day, pending resolution of the power issues at Banjul International Airport.
However, reports indicate that the issue has since been resolved, and the flight is expected to continue on its scheduled trip to Banjul.
