Amie T. Gomez’s 10th-minute strike was enough to hand St Aidan’s Girls a 1–0 victory over St Vincent De Paul in the Region Two West Gambia Schools Football Qualifiers in the Upper Basic School category at Box Bar.

St Vincent De Paul pushed for an equaliser, but St Aidan’s remained composed defensively and protected their slender advantage until the final whistle.

The victory sees St Aidan’s Girls crowned champions of the Region Two West qualifiers after a hard-fought final.
