Rapper ST Brikama Boyo has dismissed rumours of a rift between him and fellow artiste Bro K, insisting that the two remain on good terms despite what is often portrayed in the media.

Speaking during a press conference, ST Brikama Boyo revealed that he recently encouraged people around him to reach out to Bro K, adding that he personally extended an invitation to him ahead of his upcoming concert.

“I told them, you all should reach out to Bro K. I even told Bro K himself the last time I saw him at Antulas. I told him, ‘Bro, in a couple of weeks, it’s my concert, you’re invited,’” he said.

The rapper explained that while the public may believe there is tension between them due to online narratives, their real-life interactions tell a different story.

“Anybody you think I have problems with, when I meet them, I’m cool with them. When we see each other, we are brothers. Outside is where you see all that stuff,” he stated.

ST Brikama Boyo stressed that he is not moved by social media drama, noting that cooperation is a key value he lives by.

“I would rather cooperate with brothers. We work and push each other than try to push each other backwards. That’s not my thing,” he said.

However, he admitted that recent developments have left some people confused about the relationship between the artistes, especially after videos and incidents surfaced online shortly after earlier discussions involving Bro K.

According to him, this uncertainty has made it difficult for some people to know how receptive Bro K may be to engagement, despite their past efforts to address issues privately.

“We struggled. We made attempts to talk to him as an individual, especially,” ST Brikama Boyo added.
