A student at Sotokoi Tintinto Lower and Upper Basic School was rushed to hospital after he was allegedly stabbed by a fellow student during a confrontation.

According to eyewitness accounts, the incident reportedly followed an argument between the two students over a missing mobile phone.

Both allegedly accused each other of stealing the device, leading to a heated exchange.

The situation is said to have escalated when one of the students allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the other.

The injured student was immediately taken to a nearby health facility for urgent medical attention.

The condition of the victim remains unclear, while authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
