Gambian Spanish-born winger Suleiman Camara has joined Ebrima Colley and Yankuba Minteh as the only Gambian players to score in the UEFA Champions League proper.

Suleiman Camara marked his Champions League debut with a spectacular goal for Slovan Bratislava in their 6-1 defeat to defending champions Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

Despite the heavy defeat, the 24-year-old produced a memorable individual moment, scoring a fabulous goal to become the third Gambian to find the back of the net in the Champions League proper.

Suleman Camara’s goal adds his name to an exclusive list alongside Ebrima Colley and Yankuba Minteh, who previously achieved the feat.
