Ousainou Bojang, the prime suspect in the killing of two police officers at Sukuta-Traffic Light, has been charged with two counts of murder and terrorism. 

The suspect who is identified as a Senegalese national today (21 Sept) appeared before Kanifing Magistrates’ Court. 

After a preliminary hearing the case was transferred to the High Court in Banjul for trial.

Meanwhile, Amie Bojang, a Gambian woman has also been charged with aiding and abetting the suspect. 

She was accused of transporting the suspect to escape the jurisdiction of The Gambia after the alleged attack.
