A suspected car thief has been arrested with stolen taxi by police during a patrol in Foni Jalokoto. 

Police officer Barham Sohna said in a viral audio he and his men intercepted the taxi during a patrol which was heading to Jarra Soma.

“This is a stolen car. We intercepted the car during patrol in Foni at a village called Jalokoto where the man driving the car told me that he is going to Jarra Soma when I asked where was he going to,” he said. 

“But the name he gave me and the name on the car document were different and I asked him to open the boot of the car which he couldn’t do. 

“I the asked him if the boot has a problem and he said no. Then I suspected that he might have stolen the car. He then later confessed.”

“So, the car is with us at our station and if anyone whose car was stolen car reach out to us,” he added.
