The suspended leader of the opposition Gambia Action Party (GAP) has promised to name the person who signed the deportation deal with the European Union.

Musa Yali Batchilly said he will make the disclosure at President Barrow’s NPP rally tomorrow (Thursday) at Buffer Zone.

“I am calling on Gambians, especially the women to come join Barrow… [their] sons and daughters who they wanted to deport, the political party who signed the deportation agreement I will name it on Thursday at the Buffer Zone. I will spill the beans because Barrow is very clean of the deal,” he said.

Batchilly, who has fallen out with his GAP party after endorsing President Barrow, explained his decision to join the Barrow camp.

“I built and founded GAP but I placed GAP aside and joined Barrow to support him in order for him to win the upcoming presidential election.

“I want support individually and GAP has principles and constitution and GAP is GAP and Batchily is Batchilly. If GAP wants to work with me on this, I welcome them but if they don’t I respect their feelings,” he said.
