A taxi driver was reportedly forced out of his vehicle at gunpoint by armed bandits early Sunday morning.
According to an audio recording shared with Gambiana, the driver had taken a passenger to the airport and was returning when the attack occurred.
“While coming back, he was ambushed by armed bandits and forced to exit his car at gunpoint. Although he was unharmed, his car was stolen,” a man in the audio stated.
“We are appealing to the public for any information regarding the whereabouts of the vehicle.”
Police could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.
