Thousands of people have gathered at the Independence Stadium to grace the launch of President Adama Barrow’s National People’s Party.

They are dressed in the party white colour.

But it seems like many of them are not respecting the coronavirus restrictions as few people could be seen wearing face masks and adhering to social distancing measures. 

The launch has stirred public debate as scores denounced the move in the middle of a pandemic and feared it will lead to spike in coronavirus cases.
