The Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) calls on victims who were detained at the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) to contact its headquarters.

The NIA now renamed State Intelligence Services was the centre of the brutal crackdown and human rights abuses during the 22-year rule of former president Yahya Jammeh.

The Commission said despite suspension of public hearings due to the pandemic  its secretariat is open to receive complaints and statements from victims, and witnesses of human rights violations.

It is asking individuals who were detained at the NIA between 1994 and 2017 and have had their rights violated to contact the TRRC personally at its headquarters or call its telephone numbers.
