Two young men who went for swimming at Palma Rima Beach are reported to have drown while a third man is in a critical condition. 

The victims are known to have come from Ebou Town and Jeshwang. 

A close source who doesn’t want to be named told Gambiana: “Three men who are between the ages of 20 to 30 got into trouble while swimming today at the Palma beach. They couldn’t get the early support they needed. And I am the one who rushed to call the personnel of the Police Anti-Crime to come and give support.”

“I was told two of the boys died, but I have no concrete evidence but I believe they died. But their partner is in a critical condition. They were rushed to the Kanifing General Hospital,” he added.
