Two more coronavirus deaths have been confirmed as 53 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded.

The victims both men aged 70 and 91 had their samples collected and processed posthumously, Gambian health officials said on Friday.

The Gambia’s coronavirus death toll is now 134. 

Health officials confirmed that 53 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded  bringing the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 4,237.
