Wagadu on Sunday stunned Sateba beating them 1-0 in the regional triangular playoff final at the Soma mini stadium. 

Wagadu now earned themselves a place in the Gambia Football Federation National League Division Two. 

Ousman Sidibeh’s 22nd-minute header was the only goal in the match and was enough for the URR Champions to earn an incredible return to the national second tier domestic competition following their relegation to regional third division football a year ago.

Wagadu’s victory completed the playoffs and thus joined Medina FC and Serekunda United who earlier booked their spots from the Greater Banjul triangular playoffs to League Division Two.
