Two of Senegal’s prominent singers, Wally Seck and Vivian, are among a group of musicians expected to perform live at the official launch of President Adama Barrow’s National People’s Party at the Independence Stadium tonight. 

Gambian Kora singer, Jaliba Kuyateh, is also performing.

The stadium is almost fill to capacity, and people are still streaming in large numbers.

President Adama Barrow is however yet to arrive but all cabinet officials are seated.

A group of Gambians in the diaspora aligning their political ideology with that of President Barrow are also present.
