Fatoumatta Kargbo, who was stabbed to death by an armed robber last Friday, has been finally laid to rest.

She was buried today at the Bakau cemetery.

Kargbo, a staff at H&M Forex Bureau in Westfield, was allegedly stabbed to death by a Senegalese man, Haruna Tine while attempting to rob the premises.

Tin was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital after suffering self-inflicted wounds.

Police have charged him with murde over the death of Fatoumatta Kargbo and will be arraigned before a judge this week.

Scores of Gambians are demanding justice for Fatoumatta and are planning a protest over the surge in violent crimes.
