The murder trial of former minister Yankuba Touray has been adjourned to October 5.

Mr Touray, 54, is accused of taking part in the killing of former finance minister Ousman Koro Ceesay. But he denied the allegation.

Weeks ago Mr Touray, a former minister for lands and local government under the Jammeh regime, began testifying on his own murder trial before Justice Ebrima Jaiteh at the Banjul High Court.

The  retired army captain told the court he did not give any command to the guards in his compound on the day Koro Ceesay died.
