Gambian international Alieu Fadera has officially signed for Italian Serie A side US Sassuolo on a season-long loan from fellow Serie A club Como 1907.

The deal, worth €1 million, includes an option for Sassuolo to make the move permanent for €10 million, with the agreement running until 2030.

Como have safeguarded their long-term interests by inserting a buy-back clause, allowing them to re-sign the talented winger in the future.

Fadera’s move marks another big step in his promising career as he looks to make his mark in Italy’s top flight.
