Dr Bai Biram Jagne, leader of the opposition All People’s Party, has lambasted President Adama Barrow for “throwing away D116 million’ of tax payers money on the rejected draft constitution.  

Dr Jagne told reporters, at the Banjul International Airport following his return from UK, that the huge sum of money was “wasted” on drafting a constitution that was rejected by lawmakers.

“We have a president who doesn’t care about its citizens,” Dr Jagne said.
