Gambian international striker Muhammed Badamosi scored a brace as Riga FC defeated Grobiņa 5-2 in the Latvian top-flight league.

The brace takes Badamosi’s tally to 24 league goals this season, drawing him level with fellow Gambian striker Dembo Darboe, who scored 24 league goals for Shakhtyor Soligorsk in Belarus in 2021.

Muhammed Badamosi is now on the verge of making history as he targets becoming the Gambian with the most league goals in a single season in European football.
