The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has issued a strong warning to Bakary Bojang, President of the West Coast Regional Football Association (WCRFA), for interfering with matchday procedures during the 2025 Division 2 playoff qualifier between Ali Sowe Sr FC and Sibanor United FC.

In a leaked letter seen by this medium, the GFF Competitions Department described Bojang’s actions as “regrettable and uncalled for” after he allegedly forced the inclusion of unregistered players into Sibanor United’s team list by manually adding their names.

“The matchday procedures and processes cannot be compromised due to an administrative error stemming from your RFA,” the letter stated. “Mr. President, you are warned to not interfere in such matters going forward.”

The federation urged Bojang to exercise restraint in future, emphasizing the importance of upholding the integrity of the game.
