The leadership of People’s Progressive Party has pleaded with defected party members to comeback amid fallout with President Adama Barrow.

Kebba Jallow, the leader of People’s Progressive Party, has accused Barrow of breaching a coalition agreement by giving preferential treatment to APRC and NRP over his party.

According to him, this betrayal is a sign of his party getting onto State House in the next presidential election in 2026.

“Any member of PPP who had left the party for one reason or the other, please comeback to the party. We will put up candidates for the mayoral election, we will put up candidates for the chairmanship election and we will put up candidates for the local government election,” Kebba Jallow pleaded to the defected members.

“We will put up many candidates and even if we are going to win only one seat that seat will lead us to State House in the next presidential election.

“There are other political parties that approach to work with us and we are willing to work with them,” he Added.
