Dembo Bojang, the National People’s Party national president, has snubbed UDP and United Democratic Party and APRC as he expressed gratitude to the other major political parties.

“I thank the PPP representative here, OJ, and PDOIS under the leadership of Halifa Sallah, I thank NRP in fact I should  not thank NRP because I am in the same boat with [them] as well as NCP,” Mr Bojang said as he took to the podium at the Independence Stadium.

Mr Bojang, who until 2019 was the president of the UDP, called for unity in his address.

UDP and the APRC are the two opposition parties vying to unseat President Adama Barrow in the December 4 presidential election.
