Ebrima Dibba has reacted to Lawyer Ousainou Darboe’s recent interview, saying the veteran politician is in a lonely situation after being distanced from his “beloved young people” in the United Democratic Party (UDP).
Darboe, who appeared on Eye Africa TV on Friday, described Talib Bensouda’s exit from the UDP as a long-planned move. He said he had previously confronted the young mayor and others, including Ebrima Dibba, about their plans, but they all denied it.
Reacting to Darboe’s comments, Dibba said members of Talib Bensouda’s Unite Movement for Change should learn from their former leader’s remarks, though he refused to say whether the interview was good or bad.
“Ousainou Darboe is in a situation of being distanced from his lovely children in the party, and that is painful,” Dibba told said.
He went on to claim that the Unite Movement for Change has become a growing threat to many political parties, including the ruling National People’s Party (NPP).
