Essa Faal has refuted Sana Manjang’s allegation against him, describing it as “completely and utterly false”. 

The former lead counsel of Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission made the statement today following a rare audio interview of Sana Manjan, a former guard of president Yahya Jammeh. 

Manjang alleged that Faal wanted to use him to testify against his former boss. 

However Faal has rubbished his allegation as a “bad fabrication”.

In a statement Mr Faal said: “I have heard on social media the claims by Sana Manjang (Gambia’s most notorious killer) about me bribing him- some incoherent story. 

“It goes without saying that his claims are completely and utterly false. They are no more than a bad fabrication; a figment of his delirious imagination and deserve no further comment from me or a waste of my valuable time.”
