Prosecutors filed a bill of indictment against Ms Sinyan for allegedly killing her boyfriend, contrary to section 187 of Criminal Code Cap: 10:01 Revised Laws of the Gambia 2009.

Ms Sinyan, who has been in remand since her arrest in September, pleaded not guilty to the murder charge.
