Two Covid-19 related deaths have been reported by Gambian health authorities bringing the country’s death toll to 115.

The victims were Covid-19 patients receiving medical care at the MRC and both have underlying health problems. 

Health officials also announced one new positive coronavirus case taking the total registered in The Gambia to 3585. 

The new case is a 27-year-old male and represented 1.4% positivity test rate. 

Meanwhile The Gambia currently has 46 people in quarantine and 1246 active cases.
