The Gambia Wrestling Association (GWA) is mourning the sudden death of wrestler Mot Jobe also known as ‘Signal’.

The late wrestler died today at the  Kanifing General Hospital after a brief illness.

Jobe, a rising star in Gambian wrestling, had worked with wrestling clubs such as Club Nema Saku and Ham Ham. 

The GWA said Jobe will be laid to rest later today in his home village of Bati Jamagen.

“We send our condolences to the family and Club Nema. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” the GWA said in a statement.
