The Gambian man in Sweden seen having sex on a Facebook live video with a Zimbabwean transgender woman has apologised for his actions.

Sulayman Ceesay claimed he was under the influence of drugs and could not remember the incident.

“I was drugged to have sex with her. I cannot even remember what happened, that night,” Sulayman told Gambian talk show host Ebou Bah.

“It was my friends that told me the next day that videos and photos were circulating on Facebook showing me and the transgender woman.”

“I went to the police on Saturday, but they said there is nothing they could do,” he added.

He claimed it was a chance encounter with the woman Tatelicious Karigambe-Sandberg, a reality star and entertainer.

Sulayman said they met at a train station in Härnösand, northern Sweden and he accompanied her to her apartment.

Tatelicious is HIV positive and had disclosed her status with Sulayman in the viral video.

When asked whether he has taken an HIV test following his encounter with the woman, Sulayman said “I think I used a condom. Yes, I used a condom.”

“I have a child in Holland and a woman here in Sweden. I will not involve myself in anything that is shamefully wrong.”
