Ebrima Bah, a Gambian based in Germany, has ripped into Air France branding them as “useless” after missing his baggage on a flight from Paris to the German city of Stuttgart.

Mr Bah said he has demanded a refund of his belongings but added that the Air France asked him to produce receipt.

“They have not found it after a month. I made a claim for a total refund or payment of the contents of my baggage. They asked me to provide them with receipts for the contents on my bag. I was like: what the heck? Who buys clothes and keeps the receipts to expect that the useless Air France will lose it?

“They replied saying: Since you don’t have the receipts, per company policy we will pay you €600… the funniest thing I have ever heard. I told them the contents I have in the bag are mainly clothes which are of designer quality, and just 5 t-shirts maybe €600 Air France is a joke do not ever use them,” Mr Bah said.

“And this is after my flight from Paris to Stuttgart was cancelled and rebooked 10 hours later I had to fly to Amsterdam and then to Stuttgart.

“This is an Airline that has no regards for its African clients and if you are thinking of flying with them, I am advising you to reconsider. This is my ordeal with them and this is not the first time,” he added.

Air France could not be reach for comment.
