Gambia Radio and Television Services has remembered the late journalist Sise Jaha Sawaneh who worked for the national broadcaster for years.

Miss Sawaneh died along with two other people in a car accident last year on the trans Gambia highway.

“Remembering a fallen Comrade. On this day last we lost Sise Jaha Sawaneh, a vibrant young voice who brought immense versality in our wide range of programs. Continue to Rest In Peach legend! Forever a star,” GRTS wrote on Facebook.

She was a respected Gambian journalist and an activist. Many still mourned the 

untimely death of the talented journalist for her humanitarian gestures.
