Presiding judge Momodou SM Jallow has ruled that blood samples must be taken from Bob Keita and Pa Modou Johm to ascertain the paternity of deceased baby Muhammed. 

The judge dismissed Keita’s lawyer application for the judge to set aside an earlier injunction for DNA paternity test form the accused.  

The judge adjourned the case to 5 October as the courts are set to go for recess. 

Bubacarr Keita has been taken back to remand at Mile 2 prison. 

Mr Keita is standing trial for allegedly raping is ex-wife’s 15-year-old sister in 2019 resulting in a pregnancy. He denies the charge.
