The Gambia head coach Johnathan McKinstry has named his final 25-man squad for the Scorpions’ double-header against Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Yankuba Minteh and Musa Barrow headline the returns after missing the previous international window through injury.

Midfielder Alasana Manneh has also earned a recall to the national team after a spell away from the squad due to limited playing time at club level.

However, Adama Sidibeh, Abdoulie Manneh, Alieu Fadera and James Gomez have all missed out due to injury.

Suleiman Camara has retained his place in the squad despite an injury scare during his club’s UEFA Champions League encounter against LASK.

The Scorpions will travel to face the Elephants on November 12th before hosting them on November 17th at the Independence Stadium.

McKinstry will be hoping his selected squad can deliver positive results in the two crucial encounters.
