I wish to use your reputable media to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the President of Senegal, his excellency, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, and his Prime Minister, Hon Ousmane Sonko, the entire PASTEF Party, and the good people of Senegal, at large.

The recent elections in Senegal were one of the greatest tests to democracy in Africa, and the patience with which Mr Diomaye Faye and Mr Sonko led PASTEF Party handled the herculean challenges was unusual, mature, and levelheaded.

The sheer courage and tenacity that they showed was amazing and highly commendable. CONGRATULATIONS. The challenges that characterized the political ambience of Senegal leading were effectively surmounted through great demonstration leadership, courage, and resolve.

Ultimately, the courage and resilience of Diommay Faye, Ousmane Sonko and the good people of Senegal won the admiration of all peace-loving people, who yearned for democracy to prevail.

The outcome of the March 24th elections was a huge victory for you, president Diomaye and Prime Minister, Sonko and for democracy in Senegal.CONGRATULATIONS. 

Your comportment and self-discipline were admired by many, and your party handled this litmus test was indeed praiseworthy. You made all peace and democracy lovers happy. 

Well done, Mr. President, Faye and Prime Minister, Sonko, well done Senegal, for such a successful democratic process. 

Special thanks and appreciation go your opponents, and your former President, Macky Sall, for accepting the verdict of the Senegalese voters, and for a peaceful transition. 

That was another show of courage and maturity. What is more, Mr President and Hon Prime Minister, is for me to humbly remind you, to please remain the Diomaye Faye and Ousman Sonko that your Party presented to the people of Senegal. 

Obviously, hopes and expectations on you and Sonko are very high, but I am confident that when you focus on your PASTEF dream and mission, and collaborate with your likeminded colleagues, you shall prevail, in sha Allah. 

May Allah SWT grant you that reality through His guidance and protection. Good luck.
