Opposition parties are working on a possible coalition to unseat President Adama Barrow in the December presidential election.

Gambia For All has confirmed to Gambiana that it’s spearheading talks with other opposition parties to form the alliance.

“Yes technically Gambia For All Party is trying to bring all opposition parties together to salvage The Gambia on December 4th election,” a party insider who preferred anonymity told Gambiana.

GFA’s call comes days after President Adama Barrow’s National People’s Party formed an alliance with ex-President Yahya Jammeh’s APRC party, a coalition condemned by many Gambians including victims of human rights violations, opposition parties and civil society organisations.
