Antoine Junior Wenck completed his brace in the 51st minute to put Senegal 3–0 ahead.

The Gambia pulled one back through Francis Gomez, who finished after a brilliant assist from Sherif Bah, whose magical outside-of-the-boot pass unlocked the Senegalese defence.

The friendly served as preparation for the Young Scorpions ahead of their upcoming WAFU A U-20 Championship campaign.
