Hundreds of Gambians including President Adama Barrow and senior political leaders are gathering in Banjul for the state burial of Ebrima Solo Sandeng seven years after his death in state custody.

According to the ministry of justice, the Gambian President Adama Barrow will attend a “honouring procession for the dead from the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital to the Never Again Arch in Banjul”, adding that the remains of deceased will finally be buried at his hometown in Dippa Kunda.
