Team Gambia made a colourful and spirited appearance at the official opening ceremony of the 4th African Youth Games, currently underway in Luanda, Angola.

The country is being represented by a 14-member athlete delegation competing in judo, beach volleyball, badminton and athletics, as young Gambian talents take on their peers from across the continent in the multi-sport event.
