Two Gambian men have been arrested with D10,000 counterfeit notes and suspected cannabis in Foni Bullock.

The suspects were detained by security officers of the Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

Ousman Saidybah, DLEAG spokesman, told Gambiana: “Modou Lamin Gibba, 33, and Kawsu Jeng,27, were both  apprehended at Foni Bullock with some quantities of suspected cannabis sativa concealed in a transparent nylon bag and 10,000 counterfeit 200 dalasi notes.”

Meanwhile, he added: “A-19-year-old Musa Jarju, a Guinean and a resident of Tanji Village was arrested with 66 wraps of suspected cannabis sativa which is concealed in white paper placed inside a multi-color bag and further placed inside a camouflage bag.”
